A brief history of Mili
1991
Mili entered this world, even though her mother desired a son and felt a bit disappointed because the girl had a dusky complexion.
1993
Young Mili rejected dolls, opting instead for toy cars, setting her own playful preferences apart from what parents typically selected for girls
1996
Yough Mili didn’t want to follow the usual idea of being delicate. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, she confidently walked onto the playground and played football.
2001
Mili experienced her first period and chose not to distance herself from her family or accept any negative labels. Instead, she decided to call it a normal part of life.
2009
Mili chose to pursue IT for her higher studies instead of home science or arts, contrary to her mother’s suggestion that these were more suitable for girls.
2014
Mili said no to finding a husband and chose to have a job first.
2016
Mili and Adi crossed paths in a shared workspace and opted to date each other for a period of time
2020
Mili informed her parents that she wouldn’t go for an arranged marriage and intended to marry her boyfriend, Adi, instead.
2021
Mili chose to keep working even after getting married.
