In 2021, we started making a comic about a strong Indian lady named Mili. Many women had shared their problems with Girls Buzz, saying how they face stereotypes and rules set by society. Mili is like lots of girls, feeling pressure to be beautiful since she was young. She has dark skin and curly hair and comes from a regular Indian family. Mili isn’t perfect, but she loves herself and stands up for what she believes in.
But Mili isn’t just like everyone else. She stands up for herself and fights against unfairness. Every week, we share a new part of Mili’s story. You’ll see how she stands up for girls and challenges stereotypes, all while following her dreams and being true to herself. Women from any part of India, no matter their background, can relate to Mili in some way. Mili gives them strength to stand up for what they believe in and fight against unfairness. She also talks about important women’s health topics like periods and being a mom.
We have special clothes and things with Mili’s ideas on them. Boys and girls can buy these things from our shop and join Mili in making a change.
